Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Electricity and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Deva Holding AS (IS:DEVA), which rose 8.05% or 0.330 points to trade at 4.430 at the close. Meanwhile, SASA Polyester Sanayi AS (IS:SASA) added 6.31% or 0.500 points to end at 8.420 and Yatas Yatak ve Yorgan Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:YATAS) was up 3.15% or 0.410 points to 13.430 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banvit Bandirma Vitaminli Yem Sanayi AS (IS:BANVT), which fell 9.11% or 2.000 points to trade at 19.960 at the close. DO & Co AG (IS:DOCO) declined 6.57% or 13.00 points to end at 185.00 and Park Elektrik Uretim Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:PRKME) was down 5.10% or 0.210 points to 3.910.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 207 to 137 and 61 ended unchanged.
Shares in DO & Co AG (IS:DOCO) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.57% or 13.00 to 185.00. Shares in Yatas Yatak ve Yorgan Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:YATAS) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.15% or 0.410 to 13.430.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.14% or 1.80 to $1292.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.35% or 1.14 to hit $47.27 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 1.46% or 0.77 to trade at $51.80 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.15% to 3.4843, while EUR/TRY rose 0.17% to 4.1158.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.18.
