Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Tourism, Transport and Textile & Leather sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.12% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Erbosan Erciyas Boru Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:ERBOS), which rose 6.83% or 6.65 points to trade at 104.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tumosan Motor ve Traktor Sanayi AS (IS:TMSN) added 6.05% or 0.480 points to end at 8.420 and Zorlu Enerji Elektrik Uretim AS (IS:ZOREN) was up 5.18% or 0.100 points to 2.030 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ODAS Elektrik Uretim Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:ODAS), which fell 3.25% or 0.250 points to trade at 7.450 at the close. Global Yatirim Holding AS (IS:GLYHO) declined 2.61% or 0.130 points to end at 4.850 and Hurriyet Gazetecilik ve Matbaacilik AS (IS:HURGZ) was down 2.54% or 0.030 points to 1.150.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 176 to 175 and 55 ended unchanged.

Shares in Zorlu Enerji Elektrik Uretim AS (IS:ZOREN) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.18% or 0.100 to 2.030.
Gold Futures for February delivery was down 1.04% or 14.10 to $1338.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.32% or 0.87 to hit $65.27 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 1.41% or 0.99 to trade at $69.16 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 1.14% to 3.7922, while EUR/TRY rose 0.52% to 4.6855.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 89.34.
