Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Metals, Banking and Holdings & Investments sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 1.32%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Banvit Bandirma Vitaminli Yem Sanayi AS (IS:BANVT), which rose 17.62% or 2.910 points to trade at 19.430 at the close. Meanwhile, Karsan Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:KARSN) added 7.41% or 0.100 points to end at 1.450 and Ege Endustri ve Ticaret AS (IS:EGEEN) was up 5.82% or 15.00 points to 272.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DO & Co AG (IS:DOCO), which fell 7.14% or 15.70 points to trade at 204.10 at the close. Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAL) declined 2.50% or 0.80 points to end at 31.20 and Tat Gida Sanayi AS (IS:TATGD) was down 2.37% or 0.140 points to 5.770.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 253 to 109 and 42 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.26% or 3.35 to $1294.95 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.71% or 0.83 to hit $47.83 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 1.90% or 1.00 to trade at $51.72 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.59% to 3.4965, while EUR/TRY fell 0.14% to 4.1312.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 93.04.
