Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Other Electronic, Computers & Peripherals and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted gained 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted were Arima Communications Corp (TW:8101), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. Meanwhile, HannsTouch Solution Inc (TW:3049) added 9.95% or 1.10 points to end at 12.15 and Kaulin Mfg (TW:1531) was up 9.86% or 1.45 points to 16.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lead Data Inc (TW:2443), which fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.57 at the close. Leadtek Research Inc (TW:2465) declined 9.70% or 8.10 points to end at 75.40 and JPC Connectivity Inc (TW:6197) was down 9.24% or 16.50 points to 162.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.08% or 0.06 to $71.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $75.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 5.40 to trade at $2,740.80 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was up 0.12% to 31.97, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.00% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 103.81.
