Investing.com – The S&P 500 index on Monday opened at all-time highs above 2,135 points.
The S&P 500 added 0.42% to 2,138.60 points at 09:45 ET.
The previous high was 2,134.72 points reached May 20, 2015
The broad market extended its rally on the back of upbeat U.S. jobs data for June.
The DJIA was up 0.51%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq composite put on 0.66%.
The second-quarter U.S. earnings season kicks off on Monday.
