Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services and Consumer Staples sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC fell 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC were Genomma Lab Internacional SAB De CV (BMV:LABB), which rose 3.72% or 0.91 points to trade at 25.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV:TLEVISACPO) added 3.12% or 0.28 points to end at 9.25 and GCC SAB de CV (BMV:GCC) was up 2.78% or 4.35 points to 160.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Del Bajio SA Institution De Banca Multiple (BMV:BBAJIOO), which fell 4.16% or 1.85 points to trade at 42.58 at the close. Wal Mart de Mexico SAB de CV (BMV:WALMEX) declined 3.88% or 2.39 points to end at 59.15 and Becle SA (BMV:CUERVO) was down 2.29% or 0.66 points to 28.13.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 123 to 97 and 7 ended unchanged.

Shares in Banco Del Bajio SA Institution De Banca Multiple (BMV:BBAJIOO) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.16% or 1.85 to 42.58. Shares in Becle SA (BMV:CUERVO) fell to 3-years lows; losing 2.29% or 0.66 to 28.13.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.71% or 19.40 to $2,748.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.53% or 0.37 to hit $70.00 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $74.56 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.10% to 19.81, while EUR/MXN unchanged 0.01% to 21.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 103.88.
