Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financial Services, Telecoms Services and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC declined 0.10% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC were Kimberly - Clark De Mexico A (MX:KIMBERA), which rose 3.39% or 1.120 points to trade at 34.200 at the close. Meanwhile, Genomma Lab Internacional SAB De CV (MX:LABB) added 2.09% or 0.450 points to end at 21.960 and Grupo Financiero Inbursa , SAB De CV (MX:GFINBURO) was up 1.69% or 0.560 points to 33.780 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (MX:TLVACPO), which fell 3.65% or 2.46 points to trade at 64.97 at the close. Grupo Financiero Banorte (MX:GFNORTEO) declined 2.39% or 2.630 points to end at 107.390 and Becle SA (MX:CUERVO) was down 1.77% or 0.550 points to 30.580.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 124 to 113 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (MX:TLVACPO) fell to 3-years lows; falling 3.65% or 2.46 to 64.97.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.08% or 1.10 to $1293.30 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.65% or 0.38 to hit $57.73 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract fell 0.05% or 0.03 to trade at $62.97 a barrel.
USD/MXN was down 0.02% to 18.5392, while EUR/MXN rose 0.06% to 21.9657.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 93.20.
