Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Telecoms Services and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Mexico, the IPC declined 0.47% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the IPC were Industrias Penoles Sab De CV (MX:PENOLES), which rose 5.03% or 21.35 points to trade at 445.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Becle SA (MX:CUERVO) added 2.03% or 0.610 points to end at 30.710 and Kimberly - Clark De Mexico A (MX:KIMBERA) was up 1.32% or 0.430 points to 33.010 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gruma SAB de CV (MX:GRUMAB), which fell 3.39% or 8.80 points to trade at 251.13 at the close. Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (MX:TLVACPO) declined 2.40% or 2.06 points to end at 83.93 and Grupo Carso, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:GCARSOA1) was down 2.09% or 1.330 points to 62.180.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 134 to 114 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grupo Carso, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:GCARSOA1) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.09% or 1.330 to 62.180.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.44% or 5.60 to $1272.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.89% or 0.48 to hit $54.63 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.02% or 0.01 to trade at $61.08 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.07% to 19.1611, while EUR/MXN rose 0.07% to 22.3127.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 94.45.
