Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financial Services, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Mexico, the IPC rose 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the IPC were Grupo Financiero Banorte (MX:GFNORTEO), which rose 6.61% or 7.110 points to trade at 114.650 at the close. Meanwhile, Becle SA (MX:CUERVO) added 5.81% or 1.660 points to end at 30.240 and VOLARIS A (MX:VOLARA) was up 4.31% or 0.84 points to 20.34 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (MX:TLVACPO), which fell 5.79% or 5.30 points to trade at 86.21 at the close. America Movil SAB de CV (MX:AMXL) declined 1.73% or 0.290 points to end at 16.480 and Coca Cola Femsa SAB De CV (MX:KOFL) was down 1.07% or 1.45 points to 133.48.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 145 to 105 and 6 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.44% or 5.57 to $1275.17 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.62% or 1.38 to hit $54.02 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.94% or 1.15 to trade at $60.45 a barrel.
USD/MXN was down 0.25% to 19.1561, while EUR/MXN fell 0.61% to 22.2401.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 94.73.
