Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Telecoms Services and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Mexico, the IPC added 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the IPC were Alfa, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:ALFAA), which rose 2.21% or 0.540 points to trade at 24.950 at the close. Meanwhile, VOLARIS A (MX:VOLARA) added 1.98% or 0.43 points to end at 22.16 and Arca Continental , S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:AC) was up 1.39% or 1.79 points to 130.29 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kimberly - Clark De Mexico A (MX:KIMBERA), which fell 2.15% or 0.770 points to trade at 35.070 at the close. Wal - Mart De Mexico, SAB De CV (MX:WALMEX) declined 1.08% or 0.460 points to end at 42.260 and Grupo Elektra , S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:ELEKTRA) was down 1.02% or 7.73 points to 753.01.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 177 to 88 and 6 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.02% or 0.31 to $1336.01 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.25% or 0.12 to hit $48.19 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.71% or 0.38 to trade at $54.22 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.37% to 17.7398, while EUR/MXN rose 0.44% to 21.2210.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 91.91.
