Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Consumer & Cyclical and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX gained 1.26%, while the MDAX index added 1.53%, and the TecDAX index gained 1.86%.
The best performers of the session on the DAX were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:SATG_p), which rose 4.41% or 13.40 points to trade at 317.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:IFXGn) added 3.14% or 1.15 points to end at 37.78 and Siemens Energy AG (ETR:ENR1n) was up 3.06% or 0.48 points to 16.18 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were RWE AG ST O.N. (ETR:RWEG), which rose 0.13% or 0.05 points to trade at 39.87 at the close. Deutsche Telekom AG Na (ETR:DTEGn) added 0.23% or 0.05 points to end at 19.98 and Bayer AG NA (ETR:BAYGN) was up 0.32% or 0.16 points to 50.67.
The top performers on the MDAX were Kion Group AG (ETR:KGX) which rose 6.78% to 36.86, SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:S92G) which was up 5.57% to settle at 111.90 and Jungheinrich AG O.N.VZO (ETR:JUNG_p) which gained 4.94% to close at 33.54.
The worst performers were Prosiebensat 1 Media AG (ETR:PSMGn) which was down 1.57% to 8.54 in late trade, Fraport AG (ETR:FRAG) which lost 1.57% to settle at 48.86 and RTL Group SA (ETR:RRTL) which was down 1.13% to 36.62 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:S92G) which rose 5.57% to 111.90, Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:SATG_p) which was up 4.41% to settle at 317.10 and Nagarro SE (ETR:NA9n) which gained 3.77% to close at 79.75.
The worst performers were ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:QH9) which was down 1.47% to 9.65 in late trade, Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (ETR:O2Dn) which unchanged 0.15% to settle at 2.58 and Kontron AG (ETR:KTN) which was up 0.06% to 18.11 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 484 to 172 and 88 ended unchanged.

The DAX volatility index, which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 5.98% to 13.52.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.62% or 11.80 to $1,929.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.84% or 0.59 to hit $70.45 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 1.02% or 0.76 to trade at $75.27 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.53% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.33% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 102.49.
