Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Retail, Industrials and Software sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX rose 0.71%, while the MDAX index climbed 0.14%, and the TecDAX index gained 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the DAX were HelloFresh SE (DE:HFGG), which rose 4.86% or 2.66 points to trade at 57.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Delivery Hero AG (DE:DHER) added 3.99% or 2.60 points to end at 67.80 and Airbus Group SE (DE:AIRG) was up 2.38% or 2.62 points to 112.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Siemens Energy AG (DE:ENR1n), which fell 1.19% or 0.23 points to trade at 19.07 at the close. Symrise AG Inh. O.N. (DE:SY1G) declined 0.82% or 0.850 points to end at 103.200 and Vonovia SE (DE:VNAn) was down 0.74% or 0.36 points to 48.39.
The top performers on the MDAX were Aurubis AG (DE:NAFG) which rose 3.18% to 96.080, Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE:LHAG) which was up 2.43% to settle at 7.008 and Prosiebensat 1 Media AG (DE:PSMGn) which gained 1.78% to close at 13.7400.
The worst performers were Hypoport AG (DE:HYQGn) which was down 2.25% to 374.200 in late trade, Tag Immobilien AG (DE:TEGG) which lost 1.75% to settle at 22.430 and Bechtle AG (DE:BC8G) which was down 1.45% to 51.820 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Siltronic AG (DE:WAFGn) which rose 2.68% to 113.050, SAP SE (DE:SAPG) which was up 1.85% to settle at 111.200 and Suse SA (DE:SUSEG) which gained 1.36% to close at 29.80.
The worst performers were S&T AG (DE:SANT1) which was down 3.79% to 15.98 in late trade, Nordex SE O.N. (DE:NDXG) which lost 3.58% to settle at 12.930 and Nagarro SE (DE:NA9n) which was down 1.70% to 144.50 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 409 to 283 and 79 ended unchanged.
Shares in Hypoport AG (DE:HYQGn) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.25% or 8.600 to 374.200.
The DAX volatility index, which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 5.93% to 23.79.
Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.72% or 12.95 to $1820.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.36% or 1.26 to hit $91.05 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 0.73% or 0.68 to trade at $92.59 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.25% to 1.1417, while EUR/GBP fell 0.15% to 0.8446.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 95.558.
