Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Transportation & Logistics and Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX added 0.58% to hit a new 3-months high, while the MDAX index added 0.35%, and the TecDAX index climbed 1.67%.
The best performers of the session on the DAX were Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE:LHAG), which rose 3.45% or 0.810 points to trade at 24.320 at the close. Meanwhile, Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:IFXGn) added 2.94% or 0.625 points to end at 21.895 and Adidas AG (DE:ADSGN) was up 2.46% or 4.70 points to 196.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. (DE:TKAG), which fell 1.50% or 0.375 points to trade at 24.700 at the close. Heidelbergcement AG O.N. (DE:HEIG) declined 1.40% or 1.220 points to end at 85.750 and Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (DE:DBKGn) was down 0.96% or 0.140 points to 14.490.
The top performers on the MDAX were Jungheinrich AG O.N.VZO (DE:JUNG_p) which rose 4.37% to 40.625, Stroeer SE (DE:SAXG) which was up 2.57% to settle at 56.760 and Leoni AG (DE:LEOGn) which gained 2.53% to close at 57.530.
The worst performers were Schaeffler AG Pref (DE:SHA_p) which was down 1.50% to 13.45 in late trade, Osram Licht AG (F:OSRn) which lost 1.42% to settle at 66.460 and Aurubis AG (DE:NAFG) which was down 1.23% to 67.700 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Evotec AG O.N. (DE:EVTG) which rose 6.89% to 21.475, Nordex SE O.N. (DE:NDXG) which was up 4.89% to settle at 10.130 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:NEKG) which gained 4.32% to close at 71.740.
The worst performers were Slm Solution G (DE:AM3D) which was down 1.69% to 35.00 in late trade, Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. (DE:PV) which lost 0.30% to settle at 133.00 and CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (DE:COPMa) which was down 0.25% to 47.800 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 514 to 254 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in Leoni AG (DE:LEOGn) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.53% or 1.420 to 57.530. Shares in Evotec AG O.N. (DE:EVTG) rose to all time highs; up 6.89% or 1.385 to 21.475.
The DAX volatility index, which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 3.07% to 11.81.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.50% or 6.46 to $1278.34 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.57% or 1.33 to hit $50.34 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.60% or 0.91 to trade at $55.88 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.61% to 1.1746, while EUR/GBP rose 0.40% to 0.8854.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 93.40.
