Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 lost 0.94% to hit a new 1-month low, while the SBF 120 index lost 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Sanofi SA (EPA:SASY), which rose 1.39% or 1.34 points to trade at 97.67 at the close. Meanwhile, Carrefour SA (EPA:CARR) added 1.08% or 0.19 points to end at 18.27 and TotalEnergies SE (EPA:TTEF) was up 0.78% or 0.44 points to 56.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Worldline SA (EPA:WLN), which fell 3.51% or 1.12 points to trade at 30.76 at the close. Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:DAST) declined 3.34% or 1.24 points to end at 35.73 and Hermes International SCA (EPA:HRMS) was down 2.71% or 52.20 points to 1,875.00.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Nexity (EPA:NEXI) which rose 2.83% to 13.82, CGG SA (EPA:GEPH) which was up 2.39% to settle at 0.79 and Gaztransport et Technigaz SA (EPA:GTT) which gained 2.23% to close at 114.60.
The worst performers were Casino Guichard Perrachon SA (EPA:CASP) which was down 3.88% to 3.08 in late trade, Worldline SA (EPA:WLN) which lost 3.51% to settle at 30.76 and Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:DAST) which was down 3.34% to 35.73 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 335 to 177 and 103 ended unchanged.

The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.54% or 10.45 to $1,917.85 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 1.74% or 1.38 to hit $80.76 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 1.32% or 1.10 to trade at $84.55 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.25% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 103.28.
