Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 declined 0.33% to hit a new 1-month low, while the SBF 120 index fell 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Schneider Electric SE (EPA:SCHN), which rose 2.26% or 3.56 points to trade at 161.22 at the close. Meanwhile, Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:DAST) added 2.21% or 0.86 points to end at 39.84 and Hermes International SCA (EPA:HRMS) was up 1.51% or 28.40 points to 1,914.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teleperformance SE (EPA:TEPRF), which fell 5.70% or 8.90 points to trade at 147.35 at the close. TotalEnergies SE (EPA:TTEF) declined 3.27% or 1.86 points to end at 55.00 and Vivendi SA (EPA:VIV) was down 3.18% or 0.28 points to 8.52.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Soitec SA (EPA:SOIT) which rose 7.74% to 130.80, SES Imagotag (EPA:SESL) which was up 4.68% to settle at 152.00 and Schneider Electric SE (EPA:SCHN) which gained 2.26% to close at 161.22.
The worst performers were Derichebourg (EPA:DBG) which was down 7.02% to 4.87 in late trade, Teleperformance SE (EPA:TEPRF) which lost 5.70% to settle at 147.35 and Nexans SA (EPA:NEXS) which was down 3.97% to 73.80 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 304 to 214 and 103 ended unchanged.

The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 1.05% or 20.65 to $1,943.95 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 3.56% or 2.65 to hit $71.69 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 3.23% or 2.53 to trade at $75.83 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.10% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 104.24.
