Investing.com – China stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Mobile and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Shanghai, the Shanghai Composite declined 3.44%, while the SZSE Component index declined 3.54%.
The best performers of the session on the Shanghai Composite were Golden Eagle SS (SS:600232), which rose 10.06% or 0.700 points to trade at 7.660 at the close. Meanwhile, Sanan Optoelec (SS:600703) added 10.01% or 3.010 points to end at 33.090 and Yingliu Electr (SS:603308) was up 10.00% or 3.270 points to 35.960 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Insigma (SS:600797), which fell 10.02% or 2.600 points to trade at 23.360 at the close. Cn Railway Con (SS:601186) declined 10.02% or 2.140 points to end at 19.220 and Grand Orient (SS:600327) was down 10.01% or 1.790 points to 16.100.
The top performers on the SZSE Component were Suning Commerce Group Co Ltd (SZ:002024) which rose 0.67% to 20.91, Yunnan Baiyao Group Co Ltd (SZ:000538) which was up 0.67% to settle at 84.17 and Yantai Jereh Oilfield Services Group Co Ltd (SZ:002353) which unchanged 0% to close at 44.55.
The worst performers were Iflytek Co Ltd (SZ:002230) which was down 8.09% to 46.10 in late trade, TCL Corp (SZ:000100) which lost 5.88% to settle at 7.04 and Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co Ltd (SZ:002236) which was down 5.55% to 38.48 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Shanghai Stock Exchange by 801 to 154.

Shares in Yingliu Electr (SS:603308) rose to all time highs; rising 10.00% or 3.270 to 35.960. Shares in Yunnan Baiyao Group Co Ltd (SZ:000538) rose to all time highs; rising 0.67% or 0.56 to 84.17. Shares in Yantai Jereh Oilfield Services Group Co Ltd (SZ:002353) unchanged to 52-week highs; unchanged 0% or 0 to 44.55.
The CBOE China Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Shanghai Composite options, was up 3.39% to 31.12.
Gold for August delivery was down 0.14% or 1.70 to $1184.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.78% or 0.47 to hit $60.47 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 0.05% or 0.03 to trade at $63.98 a barrel.
USD/CNY was down 0.02% to 6.2078, while EUR/CNY rose 0.22% to 7.0220.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 94.98.
