Investing.com – Brazil stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Public Utilities and Consumption sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa added 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Azul SA Pref (BVMF:AZUL4), which rose 10.91% or 0.54 points to trade at 5.49 at the close. Meanwhile, CSN Mineracao SA (BVMF:CMIN3) added 6.93% or 0.46 points to end at 7.10 and Santos Brasil Participacoes SA (BVMF:STBP3) was up 3.94% or 0.52 points to 13.71 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Embraer SA (BVMF:EMBR3), which fell 5.30% or 2.75 points to trade at 49.18 at the close. Pet Center Comercio e Partcipacoes (BVMF:PETZ3) declined 4.21% or 0.20 points to end at 4.55 and 3R Petroleum Oleo E Gas Sa (BVMF:BRAV3) was down 3.81% or 0.84 points to 21.23.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 513 to 415 and 75 ended unchanged.

The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 6.90% to 25.65.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.01% or 0.30 to $2,610.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 2.26% or 1.53 to hit $69.28 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract rose 0.08% or 0.20 to trade at $259.65 .
USD/BRL was down 0.98% to 5.51, while EUR/BRL fell 1.72% to 6.13.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 100.36.
