The worst performers were Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Co (AD:RAKP) which was down 9.60% to 1.79 in late trade, National Takaful Co PJSC (AD:WATA) which lost 8.93% to settle at 0.51 and Abu Dhabi National for Building Materials Co PJSC (AD:BILD) which was down 8.06% to 0.570 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Dubai Stock Exchange by 3 to 1; on the Abu Dhabi, 15 rose and 11 declined, while 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Co (AD:RAKP) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.60% or 0.19 to 1.79.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.17% or 0.12 to $71.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $78.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 8.00 to trade at $1283.30 a troy ounce.
USD/AED was unchanged 0.00% to 3.6732, while EUR/AED fell 0.17% to 4.3154.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 93.80.
