Investing.com – U.S. stock index futures were lower Tuesday as oil retreated from one-year highs.
The Dow futures was down 0.25% at 05:30 ET, while the S&P 500 futures shed 0.32%.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq futures was down 0.27%.
U.S. crude dipped below $51 on profit-taking after 3% gains on Monday.
Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) was up 0.7% in pre-market trade as it continued to benefit from Samsung’s smartphone woes.
The dollar index was up 0.3% on bets of a U.S. rate hike this year.
