Core retail sales are forecast to rise 0.5% in April from March.
Core CPI is estimated to rise 0.2% in the same month.
Odds of a Fed June rate hike currently stand at 74%. The dollar index was little changed.
Oil eased ahead of Baker Hughes rig count data.
Conventional retailers will remain in focus after (NYSE:Macy's) earnings pulled the sector lower on Thursday.
