Investing.com - U.S. stock index futures were higher Tuesday as the tech sector sell-off petered out.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 futures was up 0.21% at 06:45 ET.
(NASDAQ:Apple), (NASDAQ:Facebook) and (NASDAQ:Netflix) were high in pre-market trade.
The Dow futures was up 0.10%. The S&P 500 futures added 0.15%.
Attorney General Sessions is due to appear before the Senate on the probe into alleged Russian meddling in U.S. presidential election.
The FOMC Wednesday is widely expected to raise its target rate for the second time this year.
The dollar index edged lower but held above 97. The odds of a June rate hike stand at 90%.
Oil was higher ahead of the API's inventories report with U.S. crude stocks expected to fall.
Producer price data are due out before the market opens.
