Investing.com - U.S. stock index futures were higher Wednesday as more companies report earnings.
The Dow futures was up 0.18% at 06:15 ET. The DJI closed off 0.55% overnight.
The S&P 500 futures gained 0.29%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 futures added 0.32%.
The dollar index steadied below 100 after hitting three-week lows on disappointing U.S. data.
The odds of a Fed rate hike in June have fallen back below 50%.
U.S. Treasury yields rose, with the 10-year moving back above 2.2% after hitting November lows.
Oil edged higher ahead of EIA inventories.
(NYSE:Morgan Stanley) and (NYSE:Abbott Laboratories) due to report before market opens.
(NYSE:American Express), (NASDAQ:Qualcomm) and (NASDAQ:eBay) also due to report.
(NYSE:IBM) was off 4.62% at $162.20 as first quarter revenues fell short of analyst estimates.
