Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Wholesale & Retail Trade, Sports and Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Hektas Ticaret TAS (IS:HEKTS), which rose 9.93% or 0.41 points to trade at 4.54 at the close. Meanwhile, Limak Dogu Anadolu Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:LMKDC) added 5.06% or 1.18 points to end at 24.48 and Oba Makarnacilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:OBAMS) was up 4.86% or 1.58 points to 34.08 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BIM Birlesik Magazalar AS (IS:BIMAS), which fell 6.48% or 39.50 points to trade at 570.00 at the close. 1000 Yatirimlar Holding AS (IS:BINHO) declined 5.81% or 23.75 points to end at 385.00 and Migros Ticaret AS (IS:MGROS) was down 3.21% or 16.50 points to 497.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 318 to 231 and 30 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.99% or 25.90 to $2,640.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.46% or 0.33 to hit $70.83 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.61% or 0.46 to trade at $74.42 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.27% to 34.12, while EUR/TRY rose 0.08% to 38.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 100.66.
