Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate Investments and Chemical, Petroleum & Plastic sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAL), which rose 7.02% or 3.24 points to trade at 49.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAA) added 4.67% or 0.270 points to end at 6.050 and Tekfen Holding AS (IS:TKFEN) was up 4.37% or 0.94 points to 22.46 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Emlak Konut Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:EKGYO), which fell 5.15% or 0.100 points to trade at 1.840 at the close. Petkim Petrokimya Holding AS (IS:PETKM) declined 4.91% or 0.290 points to end at 5.620 and Aygaz AS (IS:AYGAZ) was down 4.05% or 0.51 points to 12.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 265 to 103 and 37 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tekfen Holding AS (IS:TKFEN) rose to all time highs; up 4.37% or 0.94 to 22.46.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.02% or 0.30 to $1208.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.31% or 0.22 to hit $70.55 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.78% or 0.62 to trade at $78.78 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.57% to 6.2139, while EUR/TRY fell 0.04% to 7.3079.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 93.73.
