Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Wood, Paper & Printing, Electricity and Holdings & Investments sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 declined 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were DO & Co AG (IS:DOCO), which rose 9.16% or 14.70 points to trade at 175.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Park Elektrik Uretim Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:PRKME) added 4.10% or 0.180 points to end at 4.570 and Alkim Alkali Kimya AS (IS:ALKIM) was up 2.37% or 0.54 points to 23.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAA), which fell 3.05% or 0.220 points to trade at 7.000 at the close. Ipek Dogal Enerji Kaynaklari Arastirma ve Uretim AS (IS:IPEKE) declined 2.95% or 0.210 points to end at 6.920 and Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS:CLEBI) was down 2.31% or 0.74 points to 31.26.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 226 to 121 and 58 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.30% or 3.81 to $1277.01 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.99% or 1.52 to hit $49.27 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 2.74% or 1.56 to trade at $55.44 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.85% to 3.6151, while EUR/TRY rose 0.89% to 4.2414.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.67.
