Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Information Technology and Wholesale & Retail Trade sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 lost 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Ipek Dogal Enerji Kaynaklari Arastirma ve Uretim AS (IS:IPEKE), which rose 5.31% or 0.310 points to trade at 6.150 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:FENER) added 4.06% or 0.31 points to end at 7.94 and Yatas Yatak ve Yorgan Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:YATAS) was up 3.97% or 0.210 points to 5.500 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Parsan Makina Parcalari Sanayi AS (IS:PARSN), which fell 3.22% or 0.460 points to trade at 13.820 at the close. MLP Saglik Hizmetleri AS (IS:MPARK) declined 3.09% or 0.42 points to end at 13.17 and Migros Ticaret AS (IS:MGROS) was down 2.04% or 0.38 points to 18.23.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 207 to 134 and 66 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.24% or 3.65 to $1541.25 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.22% or 0.12 to hit $54.05 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.54% or 0.32 to trade at $58.48 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.91% to 5.8111, while EUR/TRY rose 0.60% to 6.4568.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 97.873.
