Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Food & Beverages, Telecoms and Wholesale & Retail Trade sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 added 1.17%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Coca-Cola Icecek AS (IS:CCOLA), which rose 12.51% or 4.04 points to trade at 36.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS) added 8.16% or 0.040 points to end at 0.530 and Anadolu Efes Biracilik ve Malt Sanayi AS (IS:AEFES) was up 7.83% or 1.66 points to 22.86 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Soda Sanayi AS (IS:SODA), which fell 3.63% or 0.210 points to trade at 5.570 at the close. Petkim Petrokimya Holding AS (IS:PETKM) declined 2.75% or 0.100 points to end at 3.540 and Park Elektrik Uretim Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:PRKME) was down 2.44% or 0.070 points to 2.800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 231 to 119 and 59 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.70% or 10.60 to $1509.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 3.23% or 1.65 to hit $52.74 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 2.37% or 1.33 to trade at $57.56 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.60% to 5.4582, while EUR/TRY fell 0.49% to 6.1184.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 97.333.
