Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Sports, Real Estate Investments and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.93%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Besiktas Futbol Yatirimlari Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:BJKAS), which rose 14.16% or 0.310 points to trade at 2.500 at the close. Meanwhile, Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAL) added 5.66% or 2.28 points to end at 42.58 and Parsan Makina Parcalari Sanayi AS (IS:PARSN) was up 5.35% or 0.590 points to 11.610 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS), which fell 9.09% or 0.050 points to trade at 0.500 at the close. Ihlas Gayrimenkul Proje Gelistirme ve Ticaret AS (IS:IHLGM) declined 5.38% or 0.050 points to end at 0.880 and Verusa Holding AS (IS:VERUS) was down 5.03% or 0.90 points to 17.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 183 to 173 and 48 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.32% or 4.05 to $1285.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.69% or 0.44 to hit $63.94 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 0.95% or 0.68 to trade at $72.22 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.32% to 5.9636, while EUR/TRY rose 0.47% to 6.6797.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 97.347.
