Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Banking and Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Migros Ticaret AS (IS:MGROS), which rose 5.45% or 0.72 points to trade at 13.92 at the close. Meanwhile, Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS ORD (IS:TCELL) added 4.66% or 0.48 points to end at 10.78 and Koc Holding AS (IS:KCHOL) was up 3.15% or 0.47 points to 15.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gozde Girisim Sermayesi Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:GOZDE), which fell 4.46% or 0.120 points to trade at 2.570 at the close. ICBC Turkey Bank AS (IS:ICBCT) declined 3.72% or 0.200 points to end at 5.180 and Trakya Cam Sanayi AS (IS:TRKCM) was down 2.94% or 0.140 points to 4.630.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 168 to 166 and 74 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.15% or 1.80 to $1202.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.47% or 0.32 to hit $67.45 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.10% or 0.08 to trade at $76.42 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 3.10% to 6.3788, while EUR/TRY fell 3.62% to 7.3847.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 95.32.
