Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Information Technology, Banking and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Tekfen Holding AS (IS:TKFEN), which rose 5.94% or 1.48 points to trade at 26.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS:CLEBI) added 4.80% or 2.90 points to end at 63.30 and MLP Saglik Hizmetleri AS (IS:MPARK) was up 4.20% or 0.56 points to 13.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestel Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:VESTL), which fell 4.67% or 0.490 points to trade at 10.010 at the close. Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS) declined 4.55% or 0.020 points to end at 0.420 and Ford Otomotiv Sanayi AS (IS:FROTO) was down 3.57% or 2.05 points to 55.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 201 to 140 and 66 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.29% or 3.80 to $1317.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.32% or 0.18 to hit $57.12 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 0.29% or 0.19 to trade at $66.39 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.38% to 5.3313, while EUR/TRY rose 0.51% to 6.0689.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 96.023.
