Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Wholesale & Retail Trade, Insurance and Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Banvit Bandirma Vitaminli Yem Sanayi AS (IS:BANVT), which rose 19.97% or 2.750 points to trade at 16.520 at the close. Meanwhile, CarrefourSA Carrefour Sabanci Ticaret Merkezi AS (IS:CRFSA) added 8.61% or 0.65 points to end at 8.20 and Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS) was up 7.69% or 0.050 points to 0.700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DO & Co AG (IS:DOCO), which fell 11.51% or 28.60 points to trade at 219.80 at the close. Gozde Girisim Sermayesi Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:GOZDE) declined 6.17% or 0.240 points to end at 3.650 and Ipek Dogal Enerji Kaynaklari Arastirma ve Uretim AS (IS:IPEKE) was down 5.22% or 0.240 points to 4.360.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 209 to 149 and 50 ended unchanged.

Shares in CarrefourSA Carrefour Sabanci Ticaret Merkezi AS (IS:CRFSA) rose to 52-week highs; up 8.61% or 0.65 to 8.20. Shares in Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 7.69% or 0.050 to 0.700.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.22% or 2.86 to $1295.26 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 1.66% or 0.78 to hit $47.87 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 2.14% or 1.09 to trade at $52.12 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.33% to 3.5150, while EUR/TRY fell 0.17% to 4.1311.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 93.42.
