Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Wholesale & Retail Trade, Food & Beverages and Leasing & Factoring sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS:CLEBI), which rose 19.96% or 9.80 points to trade at 58.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Akenerji Elektrik Uretim AS (IS:AKENR) added 7.02% or 0.040 points to end at 0.610 and Bizim Toptan Satis Magazalari AS (IS:BIZIM) was up 4.26% or 0.26 points to 6.36 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:FENER), which fell 9.50% or 0.85 points to trade at 8.10 at the close. TAV Havalimanlari Holding (IS:TAVHL) declined 4.41% or 1.26 points to end at 27.34 and Galatasaray Sportif Sinai ve Ticari Yatirimlar AS (IS:GSRAY) was down 4.11% or 0.06 points to 1.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 242 to 115 and 52 ended unchanged.

Shares in Galatasaray Sportif Sinai ve Ticari Yatirimlar AS (IS:GSRAY) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.11% or 0.06 to 1.40.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 2.55% or 30.40 to $1223.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.16% or 1.58 to hit $71.59 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 2.23% or 1.85 to trade at $81.24 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 1.47% to 5.9886, while EUR/TRY fell 0.91% to 6.9421.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 94.88.
