Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Wholesale & Retail Trade, Tourism and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were BIM Birlesik Magazalar AS (IS:BIMAS), which rose 4.54% or 21.00 points to trade at 483.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Tukas Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:TUKAS) added 4.02% or 0.25 points to end at 6.47 and Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi AS (IS:OTKAR) was up 4.00% or 18.50 points to 480.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gubre Fabrikalari TAS (IS:GUBRF), which fell 6.57% or 13.50 points to trade at 192.00 at the close. Kardemir Karabuk Demir Celik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS Class D (IS:KRDMD) declined 5.16% or 1.34 points to end at 24.64 and Tofas Turk Otomobil Fabrikasi AS (IS:TOASO) was down 4.90% or 9.60 points to 186.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 353 to 203 and 21 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.58% or 42.15 to $2,623.85 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 4.72% or 3.64 to hit $73.50 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 4.60% or 3.72 to trade at $77.21 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.07% to 34.26, while EUR/TRY fell 0.13% to 37.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 102.41.
