Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , Trading & Consumer Goods and Textile sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted lost 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted were Arima Communications Corp (TW:8101), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. Meanwhile, King’s Town Construction Co Ltd (TW:2524) added 9.97% or 7.50 points to end at 82.70 and Lien Chang Electronic Enterprise Co Ltd (TW:2431) was up 9.97% or 1.70 points to 18.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lead Data Inc (TW:2443), which fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.57 at the close. Makalot Industrial Co Ltd (TW:1477) declined 9.64% or 33.50 points to end at 314.00 and Danen Technology Corp (TW:3686) was down 7.23% or 1.85 points to 23.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.84% or 1.28 to $70.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.70% or 1.24 to hit $74.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.10 to trade at $2,749.10 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was down 0.56% to 31.76, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.09% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.59% at 103.59.
