Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financial Services & Real Estate, Consumer Services and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 lost 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Grifols SA (MC:GRLS), which rose 2.46% or 0.580 points to trade at 24.140 at the close. Meanwhile, Amadeus IT (MC:AMA) added 1.21% or 0.760 points to end at 63.500 and Cellnex Telecom SA (MC:CLNX) was up 0.94% or 0.21 points to 22.51 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Indra A (MC:IDR), which fell 3.79% or 0.450 points to trade at 11.430 at the close. Bankia SA (MC:BKIA) declined 2.82% or 0.103 points to end at 3.547 and Caixabank SA (MC:CABK) was down 2.11% or 0.088 points to 4.080.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 117 to 70 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bankia SA (MC:BKIA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.82% or 0.103 to 3.547.
Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.66% or 8.60 to $1314.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $67.92 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 0.15% or 0.11 to trade at $73.47 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.26% to 1.1982, while EUR/GBP rose 0.23% to 0.8825.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 92.31.
