Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Building & Construction and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 lost 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were B. Sabadell (MC:SABE), which rose 1.61% or 0.023 points to trade at 1.449 at the close. Meanwhile, Caixabank SA (MC:CABK) added 0.92% or 0.034 points to end at 3.720 and BBVA (MC:BBVA) was up 0.71% or 0.042 points to 5.961 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Indra A (MC:IDR), which fell 5.83% or 0.660 points to trade at 10.660 at the close. ArcelorMittal SA (MC:MTS) declined 3.90% or 1.100 points to end at 27.090 and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA (MC:GAM) was down 1.74% or 0.225 points to 12.700.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 115 to 67 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Indra A (MC:IDR) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.83% or 0.660 to 10.660.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.20% or 2.60 to $1277.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 1.78% or 1.17 to hit $64.52 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 0.78% or 0.59 to trade at $74.75 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.49% to 1.1566, while EUR/GBP rose 0.11% to 0.8783.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 94.76.
