Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Building & Construction and Financial Services & Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 gained 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Abertis Infr (MC:ABE), which rose 7.01% or 1.235 points to trade at 18.840 at the close. Meanwhile, ACS Actividades de Construccion y Servicios SA (MC:ACS) added 5.17% or 1.625 points to end at 33.050 and International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (MC:ICAG) was up 2.65% or 0.189 points to 7.308 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA (MC:GAM), which fell 1.58% or 0.190 points to trade at 11.840 at the close. Inditex (MC:ITX) declined 0.59% or 0.185 points to end at 31.260 and Tecnicas Reunidas (MC:TRE) was down 0.52% or 0.135 points to 25.755.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 105 to 59 and 20 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.13% or 1.64 to $1284.56 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.06% or 0.03 to hit $51.91 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 0.21% or 0.12 to trade at $58.00 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.22% to 1.1792, while EUR/GBP rose 0.16% to 0.8935.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 93.29.
