Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Building & Construction and Financial Services & Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 gained 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Grifols SA (MC:GRLS), which rose 3.28% or 0.730 points to trade at 23.000 at the close. Meanwhile, Aena SME SA (MC:AENA) added 2.39% or 3.95 points to end at 169.50 and International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (MC:ICAG) was up 2.23% or 0.152 points to 6.976 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tecnicas Reunidas (MC:TRE), which fell 2.34% or 0.600 points to trade at 25.050 at the close. Repsol (MC:REP) declined 1.83% or 0.260 points to end at 13.980 and Inditex (MC:ITX) was down 1.16% or 0.280 points to 23.940.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 111 to 67 and 16 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.67% or 8.90 to $1326.30 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 2.76% or 1.73 to hit $60.87 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 2.52% or 1.66 to trade at $64.13 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.09% to 1.2393, while EUR/GBP fell 0.03% to 0.8929.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 89.68.
