Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Insurance and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 2.62% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Hail Cement Company (TADAWUL:3001), which rose 8.02% or 0.98 points to trade at 13.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (TADAWUL:4004) added 3.26% or 4.40 points to end at 139.40 and National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) was up 2.64% or 1.80 points to 70.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:8312), which fell 8.92% or 1.78 points to trade at 18.18 at the close. Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (TADAWUL:4270) declined 8.47% or 1.48 points to end at 16.00 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) was down 7.66% or 0.72 points to 8.68.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 230 to 18 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:8312) fell to 52-week lows; losing 8.92% or 1.78 to 18.18. Shares in Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (TADAWUL:4004) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.26% or 4.40 to 139.40. Shares in United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) fell to 52-week lows; down 7.66% or 0.72 to 8.68.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.86% or 4.06 to $79.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $85.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.75% or 29.40 to trade at $1,651.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.46% to 3.64, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.54% at 112.82.
