Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Cement and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.66%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4263), which rose 2.74% or 7.20 points to trade at 270.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) added 2.53% or 2.00 points to end at 81.20 and Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281) was up 2.46% or 3.00 points to 124.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 7.14% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.13 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) declined 5.75% or 9.40 points to end at 154.20 and National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) was down 5.42% or 8.80 points to 153.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 238 to 55 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) fell to 52-week lows; down 7.14% or 0.01 to 0.13.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.48% or 1.10 to $73.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.40% or 1.10 to hit $77.26 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 16.35 to trade at $2,352.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.21.
