Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.16% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:7020), which rose 5.71% or 2.00 points to trade at 37.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC (TADAWUL:7202) added 3.27% or 7.80 points to end at 246.20 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) was up 2.99% or 0.60 points to 20.68 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Gassim Investment Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:6020), which fell 5.65% or 1.40 points to trade at 23.40 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070) declined 5.37% or 4.40 points to end at 77.60 and Gulf Insurance Group (TADAWUL:8250) was down 4.93% or 1.40 points to 27.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 201 to 51 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.49% or 1.14 to $77.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.54% or 1.28 to hit $84.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 5.25 to trade at $1,855.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.01, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 103.79.
