Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Insurance and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Sadr Logistics Co (SE:1832), which rose 9.98% or 8.60 points to trade at 94.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Wafrah for Industry and Development Company SJSC (SE:2100) added 9.98% or 11.80 points to end at 130.00 and ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) was up 9.89% or 2.80 points to 31.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Telecom (SE:7010), which fell 5.34% or 6.20 points to trade at 110.00 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 4.56% or 1.65 points to end at 34.55 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was down 4.13% or 1.60 points to 37.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 85 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sadr Logistics Co (SE:1832) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.98% or 8.60 to 94.80.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.96% or 1.96 to $68.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.89% or 2.02 to hit $71.90 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 4.10 to trade at $1779.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.2393, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7514.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 96.180.
