Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Insurance and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.98%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ALABDULLATIF CO. (TADAWUL:2340), which rose 5.85% or 1.30 points to trade at 23.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081) added 5.57% or 5.50 points to end at 104.20 and Bindawood Holding Co (TADAWUL:4161) was up 2.94% or 3.00 points to 105.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281), which fell 5.61% or 4.70 points to trade at 79.10 at the close. Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020) declined 5.55% or 1.36 points to end at 23.16 and Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) was down 4.59% or 1.00 points to 20.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 174 to 52 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.48% or 2.53 to $104.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.23% or 2.38 to hit $109.18 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 11.70 to trade at $1,943.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 100.29.
