Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Retail and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061), which rose 4.01% or 0.75 points to trade at 19.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 2.82% or 0.100 points to end at 3.650 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) was up 2.68% or 1.50 points to 57.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which fell 9.87% or 0.75 points to trade at 6.85 at the close. Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE:8012) declined 5.76% or 1.90 points to end at 31.10 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) was down 5.59% or 1.80 points to 30.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 145 to 11 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.63% or 0.34 to $54.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.82% or 0.46 to hit $56.27 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1238.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.05% to 3.9813, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 100.87.
