Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Petrochemicals and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070), which rose 2.06% or 0.48 points to trade at 23.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) added 1.86% or 0.30 points to end at 16.40 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) was up 1.80% or 0.90 points to 50.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331), which fell 6.23% or 0.94 points to trade at 14.16 at the close. Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) declined 4.92% or 0.60 points to end at 11.60 and Riyad REIT (SE:4330) was down 4.68% or 0.40 points to 8.14.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 132 to 44 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.50% or 0.35 to $69.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.65% or 0.50 to hit $77.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1210.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.37% to 4.3750, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 94.72.
