Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financial Services, Energy & Utilities and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.84% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which rose 9.93% or 0.89 points to trade at 9.85 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) added 6.32% or 1.32 points to end at 22.20 and National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) was up 6.25% or 3.00 points to 51.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which fell 5.64% or 1.08 points to trade at 18.08 at the close. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) declined 5.22% or 0.72 points to end at 13.08 and Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) was down 4.43% or 3.10 points to 66.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 64 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.22% or 0.12 to $54.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.30% or 0.18 to hit $59.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 3.15 to trade at $1479.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 4.1934, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 97.445.
