Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Insurance and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 5.11% or 1.02 points to trade at 21.00 at the close. Meanwhile, International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) added 4.34% or 6.80 points to end at 163.60 and National Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6010) was up 4.14% or 1.60 points to 40.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sadr Logistics Co (TADAWUL:1832), which fell 9.94% or 0.49 points to trade at 4.44 at the close. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8100) declined 9.93% or 1.46 points to end at 13.24 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:4002) was down 7.01% or 19.00 points to 252.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 226 to 50 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.11% or 1.02 to 21.00. Shares in National Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6010) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.14% or 1.60 to 40.25.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.17% or 0.12 to $71.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $76.56 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 8.30 to trade at $1,962.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.05% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 102.12.
