Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Transport and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 6.73% or 1.64 points to trade at 26.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) added 5.43% or 0.51 points to end at 9.91 and Al Kathiri Holding Co (SE:3008) was up 5.31% or 6.00 points to 119.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160), which fell 7.82% or 1.46 points to trade at 17.20 at the close. Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) declined 6.05% or 0.43 points to end at 6.68 and United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) was down 3.52% or 1.25 points to 34.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 133 to 53 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) rose to 52-week highs; up 6.73% or 1.64 to 26.00. Shares in Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.43% or 0.51 to 9.91. Shares in Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) fell to 5-year lows; down 6.05% or 0.43 to 6.68.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.07% or 0.04 to $58.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $64.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 7.90 to trade at $1472.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.1564, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7501.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 97.490.
