Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Insurance, Hotels & Tourism and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (SE:4141), which rose 4.48% or 5.00 points to trade at 116.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) added 3.71% or 0.72 points to end at 20.14 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (SE:2240) was up 3.67% or 0.76 points to 21.46 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320), which fell 3.37% or 1.10 points to trade at 31.50 at the close. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) declined 3.25% or 0.72 points to end at 21.46 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was down 2.67% or 0.70 points to 25.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 146 to 48 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.15% or 1.14 to $51.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $55.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 10.60 to trade at $1855.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.5655, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7512.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 90.200.
