Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Agriculture & Food and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 7.25% or 0.500 points to trade at 7.400 at the close. Meanwhile, Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) added 3.86% or 0.26 points to end at 7.00 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) was up 3.83% or 0.51 points to 13.84 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which fell 6.46% or 1.90 points to trade at 27.50 at the close. Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100) declined 3.85% or 3.37 points to end at 84.10 and Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) was down 3.33% or 0.32 points to 9.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 121 to 55 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $57.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.43% or 0.27 to hit $62.72 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 10.10 to trade at $1267.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.29% to 4.4367, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 93.35.
